Another Successful weekend in the Cinnamon roll business...........

This weekend I had another craft show where I sold cinnamon rolls, it made for a very long stressful weekend, but all turned out well.
For some reason this weekend I was easily irritated, not to be a pessimist, but here are a few things I realize that I absolutely hate...
1. I hate when people throw trash into a trash can with no trash bag, or a trash bag that has fallen down. Look before you throw, it is not that difficult! I didn't realize the trash bag for the garbage can by my booth had fallen, and it was probably down for a good hour before I noticed, leaving me to clean up a very disgusting, coffee, cinnamon roll, nacho cheese mess!

2. I hate when people get into your things with out asking. I had left my booth for 2 seconds because I HAD to use the bathroom, I come back, and two ladies are sifting through my things, and helping themselves to cinnamon rolls. It was a lady that works for the craft show and I know she was just trying to help me out, but I did not want help. If I am gone, no cinnamon rolls!!
3. I hate that $3.oo only buys you 1.45 gallons of gas. I know you are wondering why I know exactly how much gas $3.00 will buy. To make a long story a little less long, on Sunday night we ended up at Craig's parents with both of our cars. We switched cars to drive home because Craig's truck had Talia's car seat. and my navigator had my cinnamon roll trailer. On our way home we stopped by my kitchen to drop the trailer, then we jumped back in our cars and headed home. I had noticed that the low fuel light was on in the truck on the way over to the kitchen, and planned on switching back to my car, but I got busy putting everything away at the kitchen and completely forgot. So as we are driving home I reach for my cell phone to call Craig, no phone, I left it in the navigator. So I decide I have to stop for gas because it is the only way I am going to be able to make the forty mile drive back home. I pull into the gas station and reach for my wallet, no wallet, that is also in the navigator. Craig had driven off with my cell phone, wallet, and all the cash from the show, I had nothing! I start searching the truck for change, I found 10 pennies and one nickel, I was so mad, my car probably had at least $5.oo worth of change in it. I was getting very frustrated, and a little scared because I had Talia with me. Suddenly I remembered, I had three dollars in my pocket. So I walk inside and asked for three dollars on pump six, which was extremely embarrassing! The neat part of this story is that the only reason I had that three dollars in my pocket was because earlier that night I had asked Craig to go out top the car and get Talia's bottle. He was on the phone when I asked so I don't think he was listening to me. He goes to the car and returns with 3 one dollar bills and a random business card, he hands them to me and of course I get mad and say no, her bottle!! I slip the money in my pocket and didn't think much of it. Funny how little things like that happen. So, I hate that $3.oo only buys you 1.45 gallons of gas, but I am grateful that my husband doesn't always listen to me. (I think!)

On a more positive note, I love the State Fair! It opened this weekend, and that makes me very happy. There are three ways that Craig and I take to travel home, (I won't name them in case I have a creepy stalker!) but one of those ways passes the State Fair, so I try to take that way home, even if it is a little out of my way, pathetic, I know!

OK, so I hate all that stuff too - including the garbage can thing! People can be so thoughtless sometimes! I want to eat some of your cinnamon rolls - I think they are the best ones I have ever had!

If not... I know we signed up for a party at HIGLEY HIGH on NOvember 10th.. do you want more info? The only problem is it cost $100.00 to get in... ?? Let me know if you want any info.
