Labor Day September 1-3, 2007

It is so fuuny to watch her standing because she is so little! she is seven and a half months and barely pushing 16 lbs. She got stuck and couldn't get her legs back together, so instead of helping her, Craig and I laughed and got the camera...then we helped her:)
Yesterday I was downstairs and Talia was taking a nap, suddenly I heard the music player on her swing turn on through the monitor, it freaked me out, so I went running upstairs to find this.... Talia had stood herself up and then reached over and turned on her swing, once again, she was very proud of herself.
Just so I have record of it, the first time I saw Talia really crawl a long distance was on Sunday at church (of course she waited for the one place I don't bring my camera!) I am in the primary presidency, so during the second and third hour I put Talia on the ground in the back of the primary room and she just plays the whole time. I was out in the hall talking to a friend and I look over and Talia is coming right for me, crawling down the hall. It was very exciting!
I missed the post for Talia at seven months, so here are a few things that she is doing now....
Eating/Sleeping: Talia is not a big eater, and it is hard to get her to eat anything if she is not really hungry, she is not picky at all and loves all the vegatables that I have given her. Her favorite snack's are graham crackers, or sweet potato puffs. She eats oatmeal cereal and fruit for breakfast, a bottle fot lunch, and rice cereal with veggies for dinner with lots of snacks in between. Her favorite thing is apple juice and she screams in protest when I give her water. Talia has never been a fan of sleeping. From day one she has always fought it, she wants to be awake and a part of what is going on. She sleeps 10-12 hrs, at night (usually 10) and she takes two hour and half naps naps during the day, so I can't complain.
Firsts this month: She finally got teeth! The bottom two came in at the same time. I have yet to get a good picture of them because she likes to cover them with her tongue:) First trip to Seaworld (for mom and Tali) First trip to the beach. First words, dada of course, Craig is so proud! First crawling and pulling up to stand. First time to the movies, she was so good, but she thougth the movie was talking to her, so she wanted to talk back. I kept trying to put anyting and everthing in her mouth to keep her quiet. (Licorice, straws, toys, binki etc..) Good thing it was an action film so most of the time you couldn't hear her cause the movie was so loud!

I laughed at the story of Craig grabbing the camera and taking a picture. She is so so cute! She looks just like Craig is some of those pictures.
Oh my! Tali can walk along the couch! That is crazy. This tiny little body standing up..that is a sight that will be hilarious to see. Can't wait to see you guys...whenever we see you!
I don't want her to grow up! Make it stop.
I like the split-stand...she is amazingly photogenic! I'm hoping Talia brings out Erica's baby-making hormones, they seem to have gone dormant.
Ok Heidi, seriously- she is so fun! She totally smiles in every picture and is photogenic. I love reading about babies- but I agree with Erica; make her stop growing up!
She is SOOO cute! Our kiddos are growing up so fast! I'm staring at my disaster of a house right now & dreading when Parker will be able to crawl all over the place! I will definitely have to keep things a little cleaner...I guess that will be good for me!
You might want to lower Talia's crib...my nephew jumped out of his as soon as he could pull himself up & broke his little arm:( I just don't want that to happen to my cute little niece
Stace, that is so sad, I will have Craig get on that right away!
Thanks! I updated too, just for you!
I'm a poet! :)
She is getting so big FAST! She has a darling smile.
