I haven't updated my blog in awhile, so I made sure to take plenty of pictures this past weekend...
Friday:
It was date night, but we didn't want to get a babysitter so I just planned a nice dinner and rented a movie. Everything went great with dinner, I made fillet Mignon with a porccini mushroom Gorgonzola cream sauce, it was delicious! The movie didn't work out so great. Half way through our DVD player froze, and we couldn't get the movie out....
But Craig was very determined, so he pulled out the tools, and started taking the DVD player apart...
After about twenty minutes he decided that the only way to get the movie out would be with a stick of dynamite, so he gave up. We ended up just watching some lame t.v. movie. Nice date night!Saturday:
9:00 AM - went to the Stake Center to watch Craig play basketball
11:00 AM - Headed up to Prescott for the "World's Oldest Rodeo" They have a big arts and crafts show that is really fun.
1:30 PM - Lunch. We went to this cute little pizza shop in downtown Prescott. The pizza wasn't that great :)
2:30 Pm -Found a shady spot under a tree and just hung out. The weather was so great! It was nice to get out of the heat.

I love this face that Talia makes, I just want to kiss her cheeks!
Prescott was a lot of fun, we love taking little day tips, there is just something so relaxing about small towns. 3:30 - Headed home so Craig could make it to "Rage in the Cage" in time. I passed on that one!
Sunday:
Sunday's are usually never very relaxing for our family, we try to squeeze so much in that it just gets a little crazy. Sunday morning's are filled with Craig taking care of Elders quorum stuff, and me taking care of primary stuff, (we are both in the presidencies.) Church is at one, and then straight from church we make the half hour drive into Mesa to visit family.
5:00 Pm - Dinner with the Clouse's...
Here is my dad with his two grand daughters. Hmm... wonder where they get their red hair? :)
Craig grilling up some ribs. He thinks is is such a great griller, but I taught him everything he knows! :)
My mom and my sister's; Kylie and Kimri had the opportunity to go to Peru for two weeks, with a humanitarian group and do service, they got back on Sunday. Whenever my mom goes out of town she always brings back a ton of stuff for her family. This is Talia sitting in the bubble wrap that all the gifts were in. I thought it was a cute idea for a picture, until I remembered that the bubble wrap came from a third world country, hope she doesn't catch anything!
7:30 PM - Football with all the boys. My four youngest brother's think it is so cool when there uncles play football with them. (Sorry the picture is dark.)8:30 PM - Off to the Allen's
Parker and Talia (one week apart) they are both learning to sit up now, it is so fun to see them grow together!
Guitar Hero- Whitney and Aimee (Craig's sisters) got this game a few weeks ago, and it has become an obsession! I love watching Craig play, he is so competitive, so he really gets into it, and some times I think he thinks he is really playing the guitar! (love ya babe!)
10:30 PM - Time to make the 40 min. drive back to Laveen, and by midnight, we are finally in bed.

yay for updates! and this is a long one, love it. That patriotic bow on Talia is to DIE for. So so so cute. Sounds like you guys had a very eventful weekend, that picture of you all under the shady tree is so cute! The Allen family has set the bar too far up in cuteness, the rest of us should just give up now.
ps Zach loves guitar hero, him and Griffin play and they think they are rock stars. I could just be mad that I'm no good at it.
What a fun weekend! Prescott is such a cute little town. Talia is so dang cute. I will see you on Friday!
Oooh, I do like your blue couches! And to agree with Erica's previously mentioned statement, I am now swearing off having kids, because you have set the bar too high and my unfortunate looking children would just have really big fat complexes that the Allen children will always be more attractive than they...sad life. Fun weekend by the way.
Looks like a fun-filled busy weekend...your baby is the cutest. I love babies with perfectly round little faces and chubby cheeks!
hahaha. Talia was smiling so big and she was holding his hand, but I think that when that happened they both fell over. :) She's a cutie!
Heidi- Hey not sure if you remember me or not, but i used to hang out with Craig, Trevor R. and Trevor W. and Scott back in the day! But the last time I saw you was at your wedding. I saw your name on someone else's page and thought it might possibly be you, and sure enough! I had heard through the grapevine you two and a little girl and wow is she just adorable!! Too cute! Anyways looks like things have been going really good for the two of you, love it! Are you two still out in Lavine? Anyways hope to keep in touch, we should get together and go out sometime, I'd love to see you guys again its been a long time!
P.S. Zebb (my husband) loves that Guitar Hero game as well, I suck at it though!!
