When Talia was 3 months, we took her to get her ears pierced. I was very excited and nervous at the same time. It was a hard decision to make, but I ultimately decided to do it because 1. her daddy wanted it done, and 2. I got my ears pierced when I was 7, and it was a nightmare, I always played with them and never remembered to clean them so they got infected. This way, Talia can't play with them, and I will be in charge of the cleaning. This is her right before we got it done, she definitely didn't know what was coming!
We don;t have any pictures of them actually doing it, but we do have a video which I will not be posting because it is very sad. She actually did very good, the first one wasn't bad at all, she cried for about 30 seconds and then it was fine, but the second one was pretty bad, she gave me this look of "how could you do this to me again!"This is her about ten minutes afterward, happy, and she had completely forgotten what happened. I thought it was going to be pretty rough for a few days, but she was totally fine, she didn't even know they were there!

When me and Zach watched that video at Malia's house I almost started crying. Poor sweet girl!! But hey, now she's like "what up, look at my cute earrings."
If you are cruel so am I . I pierced Kylee's when she was 5 months. Best decision I ever made! She has not ides she even has pierced ears, and that' just how I wanted it.
She is a trooper, I love babies with pierced ears. I had to wait till I was 12.
